• Extensive recycling and composting to reduce waste stream.
• Buys fresh, wholesome foods and avoids processed or packaged foods whenever possible.
• Purchases products primarily from small local businesses.
• Hires from the community and provides low cost health insurance for part time and full time staff who want it.
• Supports the community through donations and participation with local groups such Cell Space, Precita Eyes Mural Arts, Boys and Girls Club, Mission High School, San Francisco Women Against Rape, Theater Artaud and others.
• Supports local artists and musicians by showcasing their work.
